They build the ready-made shelters right here in Northeast Ohio and ship them all over the country. The shelter safe rooms for families can be stored in your garage.

These shelters can fit up to 6 people in them and you can even have them custom-built to your specifications. The shelter has been tested to withstand up to 250-mile-an-hour winds.

The ready-made shelters you can assemble yourself, some you can even fold up and use as a tabletop or workbench. Prices range from $3,500-5,500 and come with an emergency wrench in case you get stuck in the shelter after the storm is over.

When looking for a storm shelter, general manager Joe DeMarco says you should look for the certification from the National Storm Shelter Association and FEMA.
